Welcome at the Co-ordination Network on Decommissioning of Nuclear Installations (CND)

Within the Sixth Framework Programme of the European Commission, a Co-ordination Network on Decommissioning of Nuclear Installations (CND) was created with organisations from the European Union as well as from candidate countries, involved in decommissioning activities. It invites manufacturers, users, universities, research centres, research infrastructures and regulators to participate in a EC-supported scientific and technical information exchange in the area of decommissioning.

The CND is the logical continuation of the Thematic Network on Decommissioning of Nuclear Installations (TND), the European database on technical and cost aspects of decommissioning (EC-DB-NET2), and the European website on Decommissioning of Nuclear Installations (EU-DECOM).
